Building the Foundation for Lifelong Learning

Children, who begin their education in a learning environment that is vibrant, purposeful, challenging and supportive, stand the best chance of developing into confident and successful learners. At Wonderland Day Nursery & Preschool we will ensure that through play your child will learn, grow and have fun.

The Early Years Foundation Stage is a quality framework that sets the standards for learning and development for children from birth to five. Our play-based curriculum covers all the areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) along with Development Matters, which guides our team in observing, assessing and supporting each child’s development and individual needs.

A Nurturing Environment for Lifelong Learning

We believe that children deserve the best possible start in life as they develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time. That’s why they are called the foundation years – the building blocks for life.

The goal of early childhood education should not be to fill the child with facts from a pre-selected course of studies, but rather to cultivate his/her own natural desire to learn and follow each individual child’s interests.
