Welcome to Wonderland Nursery

Our aim is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where your child can grow and learn through creative play. Our group was founded in 1995 and Wonderland Day Nursery opened in 2007. We strive to have an excellent reputation for a progressive and creative method of education for babies and children, aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Our multi-age classrooms adopt independence, our broad curriculum encourages responsibility and respect and our dedicated team of staff help guidance at the child’s own pace. The goal of early childhood education should not be to fill the child with facts from a pre-selected course of studies, but rather to cultivate his/her own natural desire to learn.

Aims and philosophies

Our aim is to provide outstanding early years education for children through creative play and learning experiences in a happy, calm, caring and stimulating atmosphere.

We provide a diverse curriculum based on the the Early Years Foundation Stage to ensure the children are learning through a variety of planned and purposeful activities.

We encourage children to learn about different cultures in great detail by celebrating global days, tasting new foods and sharing different traditions from around the world.

Wonderland Day Nursery promotes healthy lifestyle by organising outdoor activities and by providing fresh food to accommodate individual dietary needs.

Children are assigned a Key Person who encourages independence and confidence by facilitation of their natural exploration.

We aim to create a positive and motivating experience that will, in turn, play a major role in your child’s future learning and development.

We want children to feel excited about learning & aim to give them a positive first experience of life at Wonderland Day Nursery through inspirational experiences. Using the Montessori method to encourage active learning & to ensure children learn at their own pace.

Close contact between parents and staff is encouraged at all times to ensure we create the best possible curriculum, environment and cooperation in the interest of the children. With this close contact we gain knowledge of each individual child and their experiences.
